In 2006, the Beatles' album Abbey Road was performed as part of a unique concert series in various concert halls and festivals in Israel. With soloist Jeremy Kaplan, rock group The Revolvers, and the New Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the watershed album was performed in its entirety under the baton of conductor Gil Raveh.

The aim of these concerts was to recreate the original Beatles' recordings as faithfully as possible, in respect to both the characteristic "Beatles sound" and subtleties of performance. The concerts thus employed the musical instruments and equipment used by the Beatles in the late 60s.

In addition to performing the entire album, these concerts were topped off by some of the greatest Beatles songs, accompanied by the symphony orchestra or smaller ensembles (string quintet, harp, etc.), such as "Hey Jude", "Eleanor Rigby", "Yesterday" and more.

The concert series was immensely successful, and attracted wide audiences throughout the country.
